Filipino Food: "Beef Kare-Kare"

Recipe:
Ingredients:
- Short-rib Beef (1 kilo)
- Rice Flour (1 1/4 tbps.)
- Shrimp paste (3/4 cup)
- Red chilli (2 pcs.)
- Water (1 1/2 cup)
- Vegetable oil (3 tbsp.)
- Eggplants (5 pcs.)
- Annatto seeds (1/2 cup)
- Garlic (1 pc.)
- Onion (1 pc.)
- salt
- pepper
- Peanut Butter (1/2 cup)
- Pechay (1 bundle)
- String beans (1 bundle)
- Ground rice (1 cup)
Procedure:
- First step, pour some water on a pot to boil;
- Then, put the onion and meat in it (wait for 2-3 hrs), until it shows its tenderness;
- After that, add the soaked annatto water and the peanut butter;
- Meanwhile, put the toasted ground rice to simmer atleast 5 mins.;
- Then, transfer the sauted garlic, eggplant and string beans into the pot;
- And, begin to add some pepper and salt on it and taste the food;
- Lastly, wait for few minutes before it finally serve with the spicy shrimp paste.
